General Information
WHAT TO DO IF YOUR CAT GOES MISSING
In the unfortunate circumstances of your cat going astray there are afew things you can do to help become reunited quickly: Contact your local animal welfare centre to report your missing cat. Even if they don’t have any record of a missing cat, most centres will be happy to take down your details in the case that your cat shows up in the near future.
•Contact local vet hospitals.
•Ask local residents if they’ve seen your pet.
•Post LOST notices in local area.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU FIND A STRAY DOG OR CAT
Check to see if the animal has an identity tag with contact details.
•If the pet has no collar it’s possible that it may have come off.
•If the pet is in danger (i.e. in a high traffic zone) take it to a safety.
•Call your vet or animal welfare centre and ask for their assistance.
•Most animals are micro-chipped and with a quick painless scan their owners details can be retrieved so pet and owner can be reunited.
